I have a lot of wonderful childhood memories from our many visits to Florida visiting Nana. I used to think she lived like a celebrity in such a beautiful home on a golfcourse. She always made sure we all had a great time, taking us to Disneyworld,Parrot World, Gibbys and that restaurant where you eat crabs on newspaper. She always paraded us around her club, loving to show off her grandkids. One of the scariest moments was when she insisted on going on the ride Space Mountain in disneyworld. She saw all other grandmas on line and said she wanted to go. Well that was a mistake. She dug her nails into my arm while asking me to tell them to make it stop. i will never forget that experience.

I have so many fond memories of visiting Nana. The funny statues, that looked like someone poured ketchup on them (which are now in my parent's house!). I have a vague memory of when we were young and she lived in an apartment building and there was a man in the elevator who would do magic tricks for us. The hot tub... was always broken whenever we visited. I can remember watching TV on her huge projection screen. And of course Candy and Ping. I'm sure she's with them now. Miss you Nana!

We loved visiting Nana when we were growing up. She had so many friends and she was always so proud of her grandchildren. I remember her parading us around the club house when we'd go there for lunch. I also remember the funny way she said the word "four" - it sounded like "fowah." And her fruit compote. And her jacuzzi. And her pink bathroom. I absolutely LOVED bathing and showering in there. I'd wrap up in those HUGE beach towels she saved for us (I always chose the pink one) and then jump up on her gigantic bed where we'd sunggle up together with Candy or Ping to watch movies on her gynormous screen TV.
